Love for Petoskey again – we came down to see one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS! Soul Asylum…..never thought I’d get to see them live it was a life moment for me. Dinner at Lucky’s was absolutely exceptional. Atmosphere is cool laid back but also a little fancy. We sat in a high top in the bar area. Bout 15 minutes outta town right on the St. Mary’s river is the Cozy Corners. Dining on the river doesn’t get much better than this place. https://cozycornersrestaurant.com/ Stopped in for a quick bite and a few cold draft beers. Atmosphere is always buzzin at this place and their staff is great! We shared some apps – deep fried cheese curds (YES PLEASE) steak bites with mushrooms and onions and queso and flour chips 2 Giant draft Busch Lights in a frozen mug Its worth the drive, preferably on a lazy Sunday in the Yoop.

Bonus Bonus Bonus points for the cool ass bartender – dude had it down and made an awesome drink. Bird’s Eye Grilled Cheese – herbed mozz, provolone, sharp ched, pickled onions, spinach, and sweet peppers – must try! Will totally be ordering this again. Dragon Deeze…. – YUMMY DRINK. Frozen dragon fruit, fresh lime juice, Straits gin, and agave topped with a bruleed lime half. Presentation was on point and it tasted good!

New Friends! Cool Temps! Great Food! Hello Minnesota! We flew out to meet some friends in Hibbing! Early flight out Michigan to the Cities then onto Duluth Late summer early fall time is the best time! We met a lot of great people ate a lot of great food and I experienced my first seafood boil! Tiny little town about 45 minutes from where I live. Has a few cool bars to visit with lots of great food! This area is known for fish so that’s always a great choice! We went to Snows Bar & Grill last night for a quick bite before we headed back to the Soo. Coooooool atmosphere has bar and table seating. I had the Cowboy burger with sweet potato fries. Shutout to the homemade ranch it was top notch! Ma had the perch dinner which was super good. Great batter on it and French fries were great! Peep the coleslaw…

Petoskey is a cool little town – came for doc appointments blah blah blah 100% go to Mitchell Street Pub! Place was soooo cool! Bartender was awesome too (Her name was Cindy) If we didn’t have shit to do in the morning we coulda stayed there all night! BONUS points for killer jams Good beers….Good Food…Peanuts are free and they go on the floor We had the fried curds and ranch because YES PLEASE We stayed at the Holiday Inn – super clean place, decent price, and staff was cool. Up and at ’em 5AM to fly out – it was -15 and we had collectively accumulated more than 12 feet of snow in my hometown. It was coooooold for the majority of the trip but I got to wear sandles and there was no snow so win win. Faribault
We came to Faribault for Hockey! Just a small place and the locals were friendly! We explored, we ate, and we drank and played pull tabs! lol First off we were there for hockey at Shattuck….place is something you have got to see SO BEAUTIFUL!
