I came down to cheer on my mom and her friend in the Mud Girl run! SO PROUD OF THEM it was awesome to watch!
Props to Jaime for graciously hosting us for the weekend ( we drank a lot of beveraginos!)
We arrive Friday afternoon……what do we do on Friday’s in Michigan? FISH FRY you say?
Stop 1.
Fenton Moose Lodge 430 – Absolute beautiful spot right on the water I was so jealous! Card carrying member baby here I come.
I had the Cajun broiled cod and it did not disappoint with a baked potato of course because we love potatoes.

Had some beers and bar food. Played keno and watched the 2026 NHL Draft. Why is Sag Spirit in the OHL? What?
We arrive at Saturday. Its hot and we are on our way to fair grounds at Mt Morris for MUD GIRL.
Team Candy Bush came and kicked ass – again super awesome to watch all these women complete that obstacle course.
Stop 1.
Jaime takes us to this little basement bar called Leroy’s Lounge. I absolutely LOVED this place so fucking cool. Very 70’s dark lounge vibe, killer jams, and basic no frills EXCELLENT burgers. I could have stayed there all day that is my kinda place fo sho.

We all had burgers which were amazing. They are smash burgers – I had the olive burger with cheese and pickle chips. Ranch was good 6/10 (we rate on your ranch here…Important shit)
Nothing better than hanging with good people….shooting the shit….listening to tunes….drinking some beers. Great afternoon 1000%
Stop 2.

Again its hot like 85 and the UV has got to be giving cancer levels for sure. We get upstairs get a few margs and they have baby buckets of draft beer. BABY BUCKETS. Yes sign me up give me 14 immediately.
We have 1 drink there we need to get out of the sun. The downtown area is all walking distance it was great.
Stop 3.

Stop 4 While at Stop 3.
My mom (total genius) runs next door and gets some Italian meatballs and sauce to go. SO GOOD. What a nut and they delivered to the bar! https://ciaoitalianbistrofenton.com/
They gave a side of bread with olive oil/balsamic vinegar/garlic/Italian seasoning. Sweet mother of god it was so good CORE MEMORY WAS FORMED.
This concludes our weekend. Can’t say enough about how much fun we had.
