West Branch
Quick pit stop for a bite to eat and a much needed beer…..its was before noon. Not many places open that check those 2 boxes. COOOOOOOOOL bar and food was fantastic. They served breakfast and lunch and before noon beers! Staff was super friendly We had eggs and hash and hand battered deep fried mushrooms. Hibbing you say? It’s cool just go I think for me the people you meet here make the place. It remind me of home and that I love very much. Mining is the name of the game here and these folks are hard working, have a cool midwestern accent (LIKE WE DO EH), love beer, and eat/sleep/drink hockey. Bonus Bonus Bonus points for the cool ass bartender – dude had it down and made an awesome drink. Bird’s Eye Grilled Cheese – herbed mozz, provolone, sharp ched, pickled onions, spinach, and sweet peppers – must try! Will totally be ordering this again. Dragon Deeze…. – YUMMY DRINK. Frozen dragon fruit, fresh lime juice, Straits gin, and agave topped with a bruleed lime half. Presentation was on point and it tasted good!

Petoskey is a cool little town – came for doc appointments blah blah blah 100% go to Mitchell Street Pub! Place was soooo cool! Bartender was awesome too (Her name was Cindy) If we didn’t have shit to do in the morning we coulda stayed there all night! BONUS points for killer jams Good beers….Good Food…Peanuts are free and they go on the floor We had the fried curds and ranch because YES PLEASE We stayed at the Holiday Inn – super clean place, decent price, and staff was cool. Fun place to visit not too far from where I live. Gotta cross the Mack to get there. Super busy in the summer definitely tourist town Check out the Rusted Spoke! Goooooood food and lots of cool drinks. Excellent atmosphere https://www.rustedspoke.com/ Had the Korean BBQ meatballs and the Deep Blue Sea flatbread. They have a large selection of beers on tap Also check out the Keyhole bar they have fantastic fish and good burgers.
